I tryed running preview and got sys error message "libcurl.dll is missing from computer", please help
Downloaded client and updater again and client still stops working
I havent played in about 9 days please help me
"libcurl.dll is missing from computer" happens when you didnt use the latest official client version. libcurl.dll is part of update 120.
Ive downloaded client multiple times reinstalled windows several times still says i dont have file what do i do?
Reinstalling windows has nothing todo with libcurl.dll.
To get that file you update to official latest version (120) then you should have it. If you still dont have it then its mostly a crap solution of antivirus software, f.e. avast and avg. If it still shows an error but a different one then you may not have installed latest windows update and/or no visual redist package (microsoft).
Just checked it again, when i update, i get libcurl.dll.
What often helps because mostly windows UAC permissions are the reason:
1. Create a new folder with any name on desktop (i call it HSR).
2. Inside that folder, copy Update.exe and run it. This will update to a full client inside that folder.
3. libcurl.dll should be present (If not, turn off antivirus and try again from step 2)
4. Override client executable with preview client.
5. Start playing using old launcher or through directly starting client.
The message is HSClient has stopped running
Sorry it says HS Client has stopped working. Then windows trys to find a solution and doesnt.
Which version of Windows are you using and is there a crash dump or some form of report given when the crash occurs?
If not there is a program which records Windows errors, might be able to help you find it knowing which Windows version you have.
Also try running the game as administrator if you have not yet, with any antivirus and firewall off for testing.
Ill try admin again. Im running Windows 7 Enterprise. Thanks for the help I'm out of ideas. I was thinking of formating all drives and rerinstalling Windows Ultimate.

Okay in widows 7 the program is called Dumpchk.exe, run HS then check that program for any information that it leaves behind.
The launcher preview updated successfully and started launcher but when i tried to login it gave me same error message "client has stopped working". Then I tried to open hsclient dmp and it gave me message "cant open file because it doesnt know the computer that made it. Thanks for the help guys I appreciate it very much.
Should i try reinstalling client from old computer?

Are you on new hardware?
If so, is it an Intel based onboard GPU??
If it is Intel,. chances are you don't have OpenGL drivers..... For some strange reason, the only way to get OpenGL for any Intel based onbaord GPU's is to get the generic drivers for your GPU direct from Intel.

Hmm, I wonder if there's some sort of security issue that's killing the app before launch. The launcher is being given admin permission but the client is being launched by the launcher. Try setting the hsclinet with admin permission through properties.
The error is that it doesn't know the computer that made it, what's the exact wording of it?
HSR Client has stopped working
I'm reinstalling game and trying what psi suggested now
I get same message ' HSR Client has stopped working ' . In the permissions I can't turn on the special permissions box, could that be it?
