PS: The background isnt a final product, because its untiled 16x10 which is eating resources like pacman xD (4096x4096 Trillinear VertexLit Shader)

Wow did a test a test fight to see how it looks and i have to say its awesome!!!

Really impressed how you (supa and angus) get that done in a very short time, you rox!!!

Btw Harvious: there is no new level cap atm. The stats you see is just an example picture of the GUI to see how it will look later (all the data inside it is just for fun).

wtf? who said anything about 20USD? who said thats the SB? who said that the current ship mesh will be used?

That were just a tech feature demo, content is the easiest part compared to the coding.

Just stop being stupid and ever expecting the worst case.

And another thing, we cant keep the old client working since we never had and never will have the sources of it, the old client is a very big hack, slow, uneconomic, ...

The new client will be like the old one but just much better because we have full control of the game logic (still has nothing todo with content -> which is not more than media like gfx, snd, geometry and text).

The new client will just starts with features, that the old client never will/can have.

Were testing a bit:

* /em looks good
* /bonk looks good
* /h works as expected
* /chan help on|off: when turning help channel off you cant talk into that channel, but you can still see what other ppls are talking in that channel. Checked how it works on /s: when you disable /s you can still talk to /s but not see what you typed and what others are talking (reversed behavior compared to help channel)

Also tested fighting on one mob, looks good (no issues noticed), it feels more fluid now but it happens maybe i were alone on test server big_smile

Good thing about the stereoscopic view is, it runs fully indipendend, you just need a special driver for this and all works automatically then. In this case i used iZ3D driver which is for free when you use the anaglyph mode.

Another cool thing is the driver compatibility, which allows to enable Stereoscopic 3D:

Put your 3d glasses on (the red/cyan one), and watch this screenshot:

Just used iZ3D driver in anaglyph mode (its free). It may also work with nVidia's 3D Vision.

I agree with supa, it costs a lot of money to copyright words (and sentences) and im very sure IA did not had the money to copyright tons of words. The same rule counts for numbers.
